Common questions about Web3 development

Often it does not, and we will say so early. A blockchain earns its place when several parties who do not trust each other need to agree on the same record, when ownership has to move without you in the middle, or when settlement should not depend on your company staying in business. If none of that applies to your product, a normal database is faster, cheaper and much easier to maintain.

It depends on your users and your cost per transaction. Consumer apps with a lot of small actions usually run best on a layer 2 network such as Base, Arbitrum or Polygon. Projects that need deep liquidity and the widest choice of auditors stay on Ethereum. Payments and trading suit Solana. We calculate the fees for your expected volume and show you the numbers before you decide.

We review, fuzz test and invariant test everything in-house, which catches most issues. For any contract holding real value we also plan an independent external audit, because the team that wrote the code is the wrong team to sign it off. You receive the report, the fixes and the retest results.

Only if you plan for it in advance. An immutable contract cannot be edited at all, which is the strongest guarantee you can give your users. A proxy pattern lets you upgrade the logic, but whoever controls that proxy effectively controls the product, so it belongs behind a multi-signature wallet and a timelock. We agree which model you want during design, not after launch.

A token launch or a single-purpose contract with a simple front end usually takes six to eight weeks including the audit. A full dApp with custom contracts, an indexer and wallet onboarding runs three to five months.
